New Teacher Reception to Welcome Educators to the Community

Approximately 70 new teachers and staff will join Warren County Public Schools, Randolph-Macon Academy, and other local schools for the 2016-2017 school year.  Each year, the Chamber coordinates a reception to welcome them to the community.  This event will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd at Skyline High School, 11:30-1 p.m.  There are many opportunities to participate in this event.  Click here for information.

Front Royal Trolley Survey

town trolleyThe Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission is conducting a survey for the Front Royal Trolley in hopes of expanding the service the service on the Route 522 corridor in Warren County.  Please take a moment and complete the survey here.  Beginning Sunday, May 15, 2016 and operating through Friday, July 15, 2016, the Front Royal Trolley will be picking up at the Appalachian Trailhead located on Route 522 South. The fare for the passengers will be the same as current rider, $0.50 per person/per trip.  Visit here for complete details.


2016 Business Excellence Awards

Business ExcellenceThe Front Royal-Warren County EDA and Chamber have announced the 2016 Business Excellence : Business Appreciation awards. Cash grants in the amounts of $1,000, $750 and $500 will be awarded to small businesses licensed in Front Royal or Warren County that embody best practices and community service.  The Business Excellence Awards were launched in 2011 and have awarded grants to local small businesses totaling over $10,000.  If you’d like to apply, go to, front page right column or  to access the online application. Be a part of celebrating our small business community!
