Join us as we partner once again with Lord Fairfax Small Business Development Center to present “Retaining Your Best Employees” on Wednesday, October 18th, 11:30 – 1 p.m. at the Chamber office.

 Do you want to hire employees but are overwhelmed by employment regulations?  Do you need to fire someone but are concerned about the repercussions?
Join us as presenter Geri Rivers provides guidelines on:
*What not to ask in an interview and learn some important questions you should ask.*
*Consistent hiring and firing procedures and disciplinary documentation.
*Compliance with local, state, and federal employment.
*A brief overview of employee handbooks (what should and what cannot be included) and why job descriptions are so important.

Held the third Wednesday of every month, this complimentary educational lunch series offers a wide variety of topics presented by Chamber member experts.
